Synopsis: Wren grew up in a small village in the countryside, built amidst the ruins of the fallen modern world. In her parents' day the land was plagued by a malicious sorceress and the monsters she raised from the bodies of those she murdered; this evil was vanquished, however, and the land has been at peace for decades, until now, with the monsters of old starting to re-emerge, with a singular focus on Wren, the girl born the day the sorceress died.

Wren and her friends Nettle and Swallowtail are sent deep into the woods to find a ruin from the old, fallen world and whatever it might contain which they can scavenge for their village. What they find instead is much darker.
